Yunkun is a first year PhD student joining Prof. Grasselli’s research group in 2019. He received an MASc in Mining and Geological Engineering in 2019 at the University of Arizona and a BEng in 2015 in Drilling Engineering at China University of Geosciences (Beijing). His current research interests include point cloud processing and photogrammetry applied in mining survey, rock mass characterization, and FDEM numerical modelling in rock mechanics. He has completed several internships in the oil industry, including one in well log interpretation and one in prospecting and geological evaluation.
