Tianshi Liu received his BSc and MSc degrees in Geophysics in 2014 and 2018 at Peking University, China. He is currently a PhD student at University of Toronto. His main research interests are numerical simulations and inverse problems in Seismology. His research projects involve tectonic-scale full-waveform seismic inversion, perfectly matched layer (PML) in wave simulation, wavefield injection, and theories and numerical modeling of seismic interferometry.
